| The Chicago
Center School Recital program is one a kind. This new
program gives students frequent opportunities to participate
in recitals throughout the semester. These recitals and performances
are performed at various nursing homes and other venues throughout
the city. This is an excellent performance opportunity for students
and a beautiful way for them to share music with people in the
community who are less able to go to concerts and recitals.
REQUIREMENTS: Students’
participation in this program must be approved by the their
private lesson instructor. Musical pieces must be memorized
in advance and regular lesson attendance is required. Students
must provide their own transportation to the venues but car
pool arrangements may be arranged. There will also be a nominal
fee per quarter.
